D-Level Certification

When: Sunday, October 17, 2021 — 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Portola Valley Pony Club welcomes members of all clubs in the Region to its second D-Level Certification test day of 2021.

Tracks on offer: HM-only, Eventing, Hunt Seat Equitation, and Dressage.

To register: please email linda_rosen@pacbell.net NO LATER THAN Sunday September 5th!

In your email, tell Linda:

• which level you will be testing for
• which track you are following (Eventing, Dressage etc.)
• which Club or Center you belong to (Please remind Linda of your DC's name and contact email address!) 
• and confirm that you have approval to test from your club DC or center CA.

Note that there are NEW 2020 Eventing Standards, Checklists and Test Sheets that you need to review. Don't assume you know what is going to be asked or what standard you will be held to unless you have reviewed the most current standard of proficiency!

This is a fun day to spend with friends, or meet new ones. It’s also a great opportunity to watch and become familiar with the certification process by volunteering, no experience needed. 

Seniors are encouraged to sign up to take at least D-1; or to continue on achieving the levels if you already have D-1 under your belt! USPC recommends that all members take their D-1 certification within 6 months of joining.

Several volunteers will be needed as examiners, scribes and impartial observers. Please consider volunteering for 3-4 hours. We can’t do this without volunteers!
