MidCal D-Camp

Description: Due to COVID-19 we have had to revamp our regular format for D Camp into separate sessions to attempt to maximize social distancing and minimize unnecessary contact. D Camp is a fun and educational experience designed for newer Pony Clubbers, D1-D3. Mounted and unmounted participants are welcome! Mounted participants will receive mounted lessons as well as unmounted horse management lessons. The unmounted participants will receive unmounted lessons regarding riding topics as well as horse management topics.

Tentative Schedule: 

Friday    3pm Optional Early Arrivals

             6pm Dinner on your own

Saturday (Session 1) –   

9am-12pm Mounted Instruction

9am-4pm Unmounted Instruction

Lunch on your own

1pm-5pm Optional Ride

4pm Clean Up and Depart

           

Sunday (Session 2) –      

9am-12pm Mounted Instruction

9am-4pm Unmounted Instruction

Lunch on your own

1pm-5pm Optional Ride

4pm Clean Up and Depart

 

Fees: 

• Mounted Participant: $100 per session, $175 for both sessions
• Paddock Use (must submit vaccination records prior to arrival and reserve paddock):
  • Day Use – $25/day
  • Overnight - $40/night includes day use

• Unmounted Participant: $25 per session
• Non-Pony Club Member: $15
